A few days have passed since we went down fighting.
But I am so proud of this group.
They went down, but they went down fighting and left absolutely everything out there. A few unlucky calls by the ump go the other way and who knows? (Including the 50M they missed).
The amount of heart that they showed has been second to none. I know they must be hurting after such a close loss, but wow. Could we be any more proud of them? They were fantastic.
I really can't wait to see them out there again next year. We have a great coach. We have a great list. And we'll be fighting for a top 2 spot and the premiership again.
Let's hope that we see some of our players take home some of the AFLW awards this week.
2022 is going to bring something special. We really believe in you.
