The Jeffrey Epstein case

Post by David »

<split from Satanic Ritual Abuse thread>

Bumping this old thread to note a similar wide-ranging "people in high places" sexual abuse scandal that has turned out to be false:

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/201 ... he-accused

In the meantime, though, we have the very real Jeffrey Epstein case in the US, where the billionaire at its centre seems to have essentially run an underage prostitution network, and there have been plenty of questions over the years as to how connected some of his frequent associates (including Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, Steven Pinker, Kevin Spacey and Alan Dershowitz, all of whom have turned up in the flight logs of his private airplane, the so-called "Lolita Express", while Donald Trump has also hung out with him in the past) were to his dealings.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/ ... 97825.html

So the jury's still out on the broader issue, as far as I can see. SRA seems to be a total hoax and moral panic, and most of these allegations of abuse networks existing among the rich and powerful usually seem to fall apart. But it still seems hard to tell whether there's some fire underneath all the smoke.

And Epstein has apparently committed suicide, which means this investigation stops here. Clinton et al must be breathing a sigh of relief.

It beggars belief that he was taken off suicide watch. One can only wonder what interests that served.

Prince Andrew (Charles' younger brother), one of Epstein's key associates and one of the celebrities identified by one of the latter's victims as a client, just gave a live interview about his dealings with Epstein. To say it didn't go well for him would be an understatement:

This is fun. Joe Rogan in a three-way chat about the how, why, and who of Epstein’s death (and check out the size of Epstein’s cell-mate).

(warning to the fragile - it contains naughty words).

I hadn’t been totally sold on the homicide narrative until now, but this is getting ridiculous:

https://www.npr.org/2019/11/19/78079493 ... efore-his-
According to video surveillance footage obtained by prosecutors, Epstein was in his cell unobserved for eight hours before he was found dead. The unit he was in requires that all inmates be accounted for twice an hour.

Prosecutors say that while working an overnight shift, Thomas and Noel, the only two officers assigned to Epstein's wing, neglected to check on him.

Instead, Thomas and Noel sat at their desks and browsed the Internet for furniture, motorcycle sales and sports news instead of monitoring Epstein in his cell, some 15 feet away in the Special Housing Unit, according to the indictment.

Authorities said for about two hours during their shift, footage shows that the two guards were apparently sleeping.

[...]

U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said the two had signed more than 75 separate 30-minute round entries falsely stating that they were monitoring Epstein.
Add to that the two video cameras outside his cell mysteriously "malfunctioning" that night and ... come on. The real question is, who put them up to it?
