Michael Mifsud joins The Heart!
http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/mel ... t-FC/75076
Michael Mifsud has joined the Melbourne Heart!
As a person of Maltese heritage, I have followed Michael's career for some time now and was always hoping he'd consider coming down under to represent The Heart!
He's a good striker who should succeed in this league and will hopefully draw a large chunk of the Maltese community to the red and white!

Good signing for the Heart and he has a wealth of experience as well which will benefit the club greatly.
It wouldn't surprise me to see an influx of Melbourne Heart fans having a Maltese backgrounds. A good get for the Heart and I wish them luck unlike Melbourne Victory

has anyone explained to him the offside rule? it amazes me how often such an experienced player gets offside so often.King Malta wrote:Haha I'd say that comes with the territory mate, if you don't you're a disgracePochemuchka wrote:btw, now that i am a paid up heart member am i meant to hate the victory? what if i don't, am i a real supporter?
Must say I've been pretty disappointed with Micky so far though!

He plays on the shoulder of the last man, a lot of players who do that often get caught, he is getting done way too often though.Pochemuchka wrote:has anyone explained to him the offside rule? it amazes me how often such an experienced player gets offside so often.King Malta wrote:Haha I'd say that comes with the territory mate, if you don't you're a disgracePochemuchka wrote:btw, now that i am a paid up heart member am i meant to hate the victory? what if i don't, am i a real supporter?

It's either down to the runs he's making or the timing of the passes that his team-mates are putting through (too early, too late etc.)
