Help with Ignore

Why is that when I have someone on ignore and someone else quotes them, that I can still read what they wrote in the quoted post.

Previously that too was ignored.

Because all the quote function does is save you copying and pasting, and typing a little code. As I'm unable to use the ignore function, I use my own personal 'don't give a shit' button. Makes it far easier to read through some of the petty bullshit that gets posted here. I suggest you use that, or perhaps generate your own version.

It also shows their reply when you are replying to a thread they have posted in, with the "Thread Preview" or whatever it is called.

Through I scroll on and ignore the quote and read the next post.
