Lol. That's a great book! I read it at the age of 16 and it played a big role in developing my interest in world cinema.

As for watching Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom, please don't. It's pretty nasty. Somehow I don't think it was the film Father Bob was talking about here:

^ last time I counted it was around 320 or so, but that was a couple of years ago. I'll have a look later and give you an exact figure. :)

The only list I could find includes all films that have ever been included in any edition, so my figure is from a list of just under 1,100. Anyway, here's my breakdown:

1895 - 1929 (silent era): 13
1930 - 1949: 25
1950s: 27
1960s: 60
1970s: 53
1980s: 35
1990s: 73
2000s: 59
2010s: 11

Total: 356

Still a long way to go! :)

Watched Django unchained tonight.

Damn good movie, Tarantino at his best. Top stuff, loved it.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

The sapphires, about group of aborigine girls that went to entertain the troupe in Vietnam, based on a true story, suprisingly good, great music,

Just watched the Hobbit. Very good. I'm going to be messy for work tomorrow. :(

Was good we really enjoyed it - light but with a dark message - music was fantastic wasn't it 8)
