I watched Django Unchained on the weekend. Really enjoyed it, even if it was a bit long (2 hours, 45 minutes.) Was interesting to see Tarantino playing an Aussie alongside Mick Taylor.

If you're a Tarantino fan, you'll love it. If you're easily offended by senseless and graphic violence, you will not.

I thought that was the worst part of the movie, it seemed very out of place (even for a Tarantino movie lol), as did Mick Taylor. Qentin should stick to directing

The set up got left on the cutting room floor, apparently the idea was that Q and Wolfy were 2 Aussies who had accepted a paid trip to the US in return for supplying labour, so they were basically "slaves" as well.

That was Q's explanation anyway, but he does like doing cameos.

Ahhh well that explains it, cheers. It was a very odd part of the film, as I said, even for a Tarantino. I do know that Quentin was a big fan of Wolf Creek and iirc was one of the inspirations behind his 'Hostel' movies
