Southampton head coach Mauricio Pochettino: "I have been saying for a couple of weeks now that the sky is the limit. We don't set ourselves any limits."
You've got me dreaming Mauricio. Knocking Real Madrid out of the European Cup next year would be nice for starters.
Seriously tho, only conceding 3 goals in the first 9 games in that company is really quite amazing.

Southampton and Everton have been the most impressive outside the big five or six this season, especially Southampton.Magpie Jack wrote:Southampton 2 Fulham 0

Hoping for a Sunderland win to avoid the Saints but I expect you guys to win this Thursday.
You should travel to St.Mary's if you're not already planning to do so.
EDIT: Well Sunderland beat Southampton 2-1 last night Jack. Looks like you don't need to make plans now. Much better for Chelsea that Sunderland won to be honest. I was worried about encountering Southampton especially at St.Mary's.

Looks like we have to wait til Dec 1 now Jezza.Jezza wrote: Well Sunderland beat Southampton 2-1 last night Jack.
Love this weeks headline. 4 - 1, A Hull of a Win.
Our next 2 games are Arsenal away and Chelsea away. Before the season started even the most optimistic Southampton supporter would have pencilled these 2 games in as loses. We are certainly playing well enough to hope for a point tho. I don't really want to think about where we would be if we won our next 2 games ... I'll get dizzy.

I think Southampton's fans would be in shock if they beat Arsenal and Chelsea soon.
Great performance against Hull on the weekend by your mob Jack. My mob on the other hand were very lucky to get a draw against the Baggies in the end.
