If by that you mean criminals standing around with no shirts on, then yes, plenty. Unfortuantely all the shirtless crims were men

Same, except for the last one I saw - UNKNOWN. The twist completely blind sided me!! Maybe I was too engrossed to see it coming, I've heard a few say it was obvous, but I had no clue. Which I usually do. Go see it. See if you pick it!

Thor- &^*%$^&% awesome movie. I loved the 'interpretation' of Norse mythology. Loki is my sort of badass, weak and wiry and a congenital liar. Still the plot was transparent and I could see things coming.

Paul - a delightful celebration of nerd culture. I have been a fan of Simon Pegg's work for a while (Shaun of the Dead anyone?). Funny how the alien was in fact not a nerd. Still the plot was transparent and I could see things coming.

Fast and Furious 5 - not my usual sort of movie. I watched it in the hope that the criminals would get what they had coming. Unfortuantely they didn't and somehow amazingly the scriptwriters had managed to differentiate between 'bad' criminals and 'good' ones. Bullshit. Chuck them all in a volcano and let god sort them out. Still the plot was transparent and I could see things coming.

I must be some sort of movie oracle. They can't write a story that surprises me any more.
If by 'they' you mean Hollywood, then I agree - they can't. Start watching good films instead!

The Private Life of Henry VIII.

Image

Directed by Alexander Korda and starring Charles Laughton as Henry, for which he won the 1933 best actor Oscar.

I know what you mean. However when I got my news all I wanted to do was normal things. Really odd. I thought I would want to travel or go places I hadn't been to before.

Maybe if the bucket gets a leaking hole then I maybe will change my mind.

Hope hubby comes along ok.

Last movie I saw as a new release was the Kings Speech. Terrific movie.

Otherwise catching up again at home on weekends on the projector with the Babylon 5 series and movies.

Great stories, actors, music and all round good Sci Fi.
