Per Cal Twomey.
Draft picks: 52, 55, 60, 66, 82 (likely to use three selections)
Collingwood has the latest start to the draft of any club. Its first pick – currently No.52 – will come in a handful of spots once bids rule out other selections, but it won't be a significant rise. The Pies are set to use three picks at the draft and have been looking at talls in their region of picks. If Dandenong defender Noah Mraz got through to their pick, the Magpies would likely pounce, while they have also looked at defensive trio Riak Andrew (tied to Melbourne's NGA), Adrian Cole (St Kilda NGA) and Lachie Voss as well as South Australian forward Charlie West. Clancy Dennis, a key back who is recovering from foot surgery, has also been considered by the Pies. They have also done work on some athletic midfield/forward options in Richmond VFL talent Sam Davidson, Tasmanian Nathaniel Sulzberger, Northern Knight Lucas McInerney and Sydney Academy runner Joel Cochran. Don't be surprised if the Pies pull a bid on the Swans midfielder, who ran the best 2km time trial at the Draft Combine.

Re: Thinking ahead to 2024 draft...(and beyond)
From Cal's words it seems like our options are getting further and further away speculating on NGAs from other clubs. Hopefully Cal is wide of the mark this year. He's been spruiking North and Tauru for weeks now and picks O'Sullivan in his phantom draft instead. O'Sullivan had a fair year, ranked behind a lot of others and was outshone in most rep games. Don't understand the hype with this one.
Either way for the Pies, it would be nice to see some reports with Pies and our NGAs but if they're not out there then it would seem like we will overlook them. Either way, the stats will say on average only one of this years draft picks will go on to play regular senior footy. Only 36 hours now until we find out if Hine and Leppa can work a miracle to trade into the first round of the draft to grab one of the top 27 gems. Only 54 hours until we're more likely to participate in draft night 2

Ed Allen kicked our last goal of the year at the 58minute mark of the last quarter

Is O'Sullivan the one the Blues traded up to 3 for?

So five picks with three list spots. Cal Twomey reckons the draft will take about 65-68 picks, so everything above late 70s becomes moot? I'd assume that he's on the money with this (you'd think having info on current list vacancies / spots). Deducting the FS's and NGA's that'd be roughly 15-22 picks that won't even get used on the night? I guess we may have taken Brisbane's pick just in case AJ and Markov get picked up?
