While not wanting to de-rail the pre-match match discussion, in short, he's a Non-Free Agent come season end 2025. The Kanga's won't be letting him go, he's a 10-year key position player.

Undoubtedly a player I'd bring over in a heartbeat, but he'll be tied to the Kangas until 2030 by the time he signs his next contract.

This shit venue is really my only worry. We rarely play well there, so will need to be switched on from the start.

Provided we attack this game like we did against the Dees, it presents an opportunity for us to gain some valuable percentage points. Given the bottle neck of teams from 2nd to 6th, a big win would be a great boost to our chances of finishing, not just in the top 4, but potentially as high as 2nd. That obviously will rely on us continuing on a winning streak after the bye.

First up, we need to ensure we beat the Roos.

Our record is actually quite decent there.
We destroyed WCE (centre square clearances are key at Marvel), and we the Digs on the ropes plenty of times.

Danger game, don’t get complacent.

We should be looking at a % booster, then go into the bye & reload from there.

The only danger in this game is if North are 10 goals down mid-way through the 2nd quarter and Clarko goes bunta, jumping over the fence and breeching his AVO.

We have a better win record (56.57%) at Docklands, than we do at the G (54.26%).
It's even better (71.79%) when we're the away team.

Thanks for the Dids link didick.

It brings back so many memories of just how good he was. An absolute star, and incidentally, the most accurate goal kicker I've ever seen, even surpassing that of the great Peter McKenna. I'm still surprised our club hasn't emplyed Dids as a goal kicking coach.

Off camera, Kreuger had fainted in disbelief after he kicked that sharp goal, his over the top celebration was after the runner gave him some strong smelling salts.!! lol

He did really ok.. clearly less animated after a contest and quicker to get on with it.

North had us on toast in the pre-season game, and no beverages in sight for us supporters! We were poor everywhere on the day. But fast-forward, we are now primed to run over the top of them.

If Daicos is anything under 100% fit and ready to play, we dont play him.

I know others are thinking of the coaches award, brownlow votes, etc... but why risk further injury if not 100%?

From what I've read, he will be ok, but will undergo a fitness test at training to make a decision official.

Swoop Luke reckons Woods by 50 points, he did tip us v the Toffs by 30+ so he got that one. Id say, more like 20 points, these povvo losers will put up a scrap, but we will get the 4 points. Just win, and NO more injuries.
