Is it possible to make it to 50 if you support the Pies?

Every week it's a heart attack.

Yep, blood pressure time, its like a trip to the dentist, agony in these type matches. Kudos to Mason Cox, he thrashed Witts, did really well in the ruck, and young Daicos, how good is that kid, really something else, could be a Judd or Dusty, brilliant kid. Is there anyway we can beat Nth next week by at least seven or more goals, stuff this close game shit, enough is enough. :P :)

Outside the final 10 minutes when we finally looked liked the side we've come to expect this was a pretty average performance from both teams I thought.

As they say though good sides just find a way to win the close ones so we'll take the 4pts and run.

Now we need to get on a plane and get the hell out of this shit hole of a ground.

Wow, that was tense.

No idea what to make of Moore's injury. It looked like a hyperextension more than ACL. Sometimes they're nothing, sometimes they're really bad, who knows.

Good to see Sidey back in form the last few weeks after a rotten first half of the season, but is Pendles in the worst spell of his career or what?

Nick Daicos - wow. I haven't been as impressed with him as some this year (he's looked more like a good rookie than an actual good player), but...wow, he was great. It was good to see him bite off a bit more with his kicks than he has previously, the one thing that's bugged me is that his disposal has been neat, but very conservative which hopefully changes with more confidence and familiarity with the pace of the game.

Josh Daicos - again, I'm just not as impressed with him as most others on this board but that was the best game he's played this year, if not ever.

Noble - has to be close to AA back pocket, doesn't he? His disposal and composure have just improved out of sight.

De Goey - yeah, that wasn't good. He's just not consistent enough, he's basically our Jake Stringer, good for a couple of match winning performances, a few games missed and a lot of averageness each year. Just let him go at year end and let someone else pay hamstring their cap.

Maynard - hasn't been his best year, but his last couple of games have been great.

Cameron - he's really in a rich vein of form. Not his best game, but more than held his own against Witts, who's probably AA.

Have brothers ever been Captain and vice in the same team?
Max and Wayne were both Captains of the Club, each playing under the other. I think Big Len was always Wayne's vice-captain, though.

That was a great win! In a low scoring game with the home side totally committed, we never gave up! The Nick and josh effort is just the summary of this comeback!!! This side doesn't give up. Hope Moore is OK and not serious!

A timely reminder that our midfield isn't really good enough. It shows in these types of games when clean handling and disposal stand out like a sore thumb. There was one moment there in the last when they booted the ball forward at speed and Nick Daics grabbed it off the ground under pressure like it was nothing. Not to mention his pass across the ground to hit his brother on the run for a huge goal. Just a gun.
In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Oh my God,that was amazing.I thought we were gone for most of the night, especially in the last quarter, but we gutsed it out somehow like we’ve done so many times this year.

I hope Darcy’s injury isn’t as bad as it looked. It would be shattering for him and the club if he’s done his knee.
