Not being a huge telly watcher I've missed lots of good watches over the past 20 years. We're almost through Life on Mars and it's great:

I have owned this movie on DVD since about 2005/06. I'd never seen it before last night. I remember when it was in cinema and a lot of people I knew went to see it. At the time, it was on my "to watch" list. Don't know why it took 15 years of owning the DVD to watch it??
And it's bloody unreal to think it's going to be 20 years old in 6 months.
I'm talking about 2001s Lara Croft Tomb Raider.
It was. Not very good.

It was OK. Had quite a powerful ending.
Here's an interesting list I came across on Letterboxd. Sad Bastard & Loser Cinema:

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Approriate Behaviour on Stan. A 2014 film about a twenty something Bisexual woman of Iranian descent living in New York. I really identified with her.
The True History of the Kelly Gang on Stan. I enjoyed it although I found a beardless Ned Kelly a bit disconcerting.
The Trip (2010). Pretty amusing. But won-t bother with the three sequels. For one I don't see how they'd get another three films out this concept without it becoming stale and according to the various film websites I check the first film in the series has the highest rating.
