Champions again!!!!! Trophy back where it belongs, personally i think we played below par in 70 percent of our games, when this team clicks, doesn't matter who owns you, or how much money they've got to spend, utd will kick arse, it's team spirit and a damn great manager that wins you multi premierships, now COME ON THE MIGHTY COLLINGWOOD, DO YOUR BIT!!!!!!javascript:emoticon('')

Snakes and Ladders.

Man U win another title. Congrats all round, but seriously ho hum!!

Wolves & Blackburn have two games left to save themselves from consecutive relegations.

Portsmouth are relegated to the fourth tier. (seems like only yesterday they were in the EPL)

Last Night's Result:
Man Utd 3-0 Aston Villa

Therefore this means Man Utd have been crowned champions for the 13th time in the EPL and the 20th time in all domestic leagues. This mean Div 1 which was the top league before the EPL was established in 1992 for those who didn't know. Anyway, I kind of agree with Sixpoints that Man Utd winning the title was "ho hum', but nevertheless I congratulate them as they do deserve it this season. I just hope they don't break the points record in the EPL which 95 points held by Chelsea from the 2004-2005 season.

The Ladder:
1. Man Utd 84 - Played 34
2. Man City 68 - Played 33

The writing was on the wall when Barca struggled against Milan in the first leg and they struggled to get over the line against PSG.

Bayern looked superior to them last night. It was frightening, but hardly surprising at the same time. I think Bayern Munich will win the whole thing to be honest. They just look too strong.

Borussia Dortmund win 4-1 against Real Madrid.

I'm not as surprised about the result as others would be, as I've always rated Dortmund very highly. They also beat Real Madrid in the group stages 2-1 and drew 2-2 away from home, and they covered Man City with ease in the group stages as well.

Jurgen Klopp is one of the best managers in the world, and one day I'd love him to manage Chelsea.

One game to go and we are clinging to our play off place in the Championship. Bolton's last game is a Lancashire derby v the despised Blackpool who are finished and playing for nothing. So another home win will secure a spot for us to live again for an immediate return to where we belong. One more win......

Deutschland uber alles!
Borussia Dortmund v Bayern Munich at Wembley for the Champions League Final. First ever all German Final (counting the old European Cup as well as the Chamopions League). The Bundesliga has really stepped up a gear and these two clearly deserved their places.
I always go for the underdog, so I hope the side from the Ruhr win, but Bayern have been awesone all year, dominating the Bundesliga.

Thanks Sixpoints :)

I'm very pleased about the result, and I'm glad we're in the final. We didn't look switched on in the first half and I was a little worried that we were getting a little complacent, but I couldn't be more happier about the second half-time. That 7 minute period in the second half proved to be the difference.

Benfica looked very good against Fenerbahce and they're an opposition team we shouldn't take lightly at all. I think they have a massive chance of beating us if our heads are not screwed on properly.

Anyway, I'm glad we're though, but now all the focus must be on this weekend's game against Man Utd.

Champions League:
Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund:
Congratulations to Borussia Dortmund. I put a bit of money on in December for Dortmund to win the UCL, so I'm glad my instincts about them weren't wrong. I rate them very highly and they have a good record against Bayern Munich, so I fancy their chances presuming Bayern makes the finals as most of us expect.

For the third year in a row, Real Madrid were not good enough to make the UCL final.

Barcelona v Bayern Munich:
Barcelona 0-3 Bayern Munich

Well-played by Bayern Munich and a well-deserved win for them. Barcelona's on the decline and frankly it doesn't surprise me to be honest, as every team has to go down eventually. I think Barca will be busy in the transfer market this summer.

Anyway now it's Bayern Munich v Borussia Dortmund. It's going to be a fascinating contest for the neutrals. I'm actually looking forward to this match more than I would have if it was an El Classico final.
