Bad luck Jezza with Chelsea, but the final I was after in the Champions League has eventuated.
Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid.
Both sides fully deserved their places with exceptional form in their away legs. There are no flukey finalists here.
What a tribute to Spanish Football. The Spaniards currently hold both the World Cup and Euro Championship titles and no matter what, they will soon also have the Champions League winner as well. The full trifecta.
What a stunning victory for the city of Madrid, a Champions Leage Derby final.

Lets hope the TOON dont stuff up Liverpool.

We dont want those blue pricks stealing it.

Thanks mate! :)

I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that Real Madrid smashed the world's best team in Bayern Munich. It seems like Bayern Munich haven't been in strong form in the past and is Pep beginning to be exposed as a 'fraud' so to speak as he has the knack to inherit great sides. Real Madrid are a terrific side and for me are very close to surpassing Bayern Munich as the best performing team in the world currently. The pressure will be on them though considering they haven't won the UCL since 2002. If Ronaldo performs strongly in the final, it's hard to see them losing to be honest.

Atletico Madrid were worthy winners against us. No arguments there! They'll be the underdogs but they do have a strong squad with plenty of x-factor that would worry their rivals.

Next 'big' club to perhaps sink to the nether regions of the third tier are Birmingham City. Winners of the League Cup over Arsenal at Wembley only three years ago, they now find themselves in the relegation spot of 22nd in the Championship with one game remaining.
Birmingham have somehow managed only to win 2 of their 23 home games this season and now must win their last game and hope other results go their way.

Fulham and Cardiff offered nothing when faced with do-or-die games, both got thrashed when only wins could save them and they are now rightfully relegated.
Sunderland however repeated their recent shock win at Chelsea with a win at Manure to just about guarantee their safety. Well done Wearsiders for showing a bit of grit. Well done also on just about ending any hope MU had of making Europe!
Norwich need a miracle. They must win at Chelsea to remain even a chance of staying up. Considering Chelsea still have the title in their sights and that Norwich have lost their last five, you'd reckon the Canaries are gonski.

nb Birmingham survived being relegated from the Championship by an injury time equalizer in the last round. They survived by goal difference - a damn close shave!

Just shows you how seriously some take it.....
When Birmingham City scored the goal in injury time that saved them from relegation down to the third tier, the news got through to the Doncaster Rovers game that they were now relegated instead.
A Doncaster fan then collapsed and died with the news!

Done and dusted for another year, bar the FA Cup. Hope the Arse get up in that, have a few Gooner mates so it'll be nice to snag a few free beers of them if they get up.

Well done to Citeh... glad they went past Liverpool, who without doubt have the most up themselves dickhead fans in the history of everything. Liverpool may well have missed their chance, as they'll have europe to deal with (at least up til xmas) and will need a bigger squad. Chelsea will be better for the run. Will be interesting to see how United go in transfer market... they will need to splash some serious moolah, but as they've no Europe, they may well do what Liverpool did this season. First they need a manager.

World Cup coming up, so let's hope the Oz can sneak thru to 2nd round. 1st game is crucial, win that and we'll be a big chance to sneak thru.
