Very disappointing news for the pies
Hoping the club can sort through the issues with Beamer and he stays.
Otherwise recruit for the future with an early pick and a young gun.

Dennis Leary says hello.

We're all about players with serious, career-threatening injuries.
Unless you are Stevie J in 2006, and are too crippled to be traded.
Let alone play in and win three of the next five grand finals.

You know, I sorta prefer asshat or if you prefer arsehat - either way that's about what our chances of any near success might be - here I'll put it in a sentence to test it out 'The arsehat had Buckley's chance of winning a premiership the way things were going since taking over'

On Big Footy they suggested -

Beams to Brisbane

Dangerfield to pies

Pick 4 + Aish to Adelaide.

Happy with that if it is a straight swap for Dangerfield.

Doesn't discount complicated 3 way deals like pick 4 & O'Rourke (merely an example) & GWS 2nd round pick to Collingwood, Beams to Brisbane, Lumumba & Brisbane's 2nd round pick to GWS

Guys, it's times like these where you have to sit back, put in a DVD of the 2010 flag and remember that for one brief moment, we had our time in the sun.

Make no mistake, we'll be a basket case next season. We were scaling towards bottom 4 before losing Beams.

Bring on March, 2015 - more than anything else, I just can't wait to see Rodney Eade's injury updates again.

Can we just have pick 4 and Aish?

Well since he is going to leave, I have a few names I would like to see in black and white if we could get anyone (in not real order):

Gold Coast Suns
Dion Prestia
Tom Lynch
Charlie Dixon
David Swallow
Jaeger O'Meara
Harley Bennell

Brisbane Lions
Tom Rockliff
Pearce Hanley
Jonathan Freeman

Thoughts on these players at Collingwood??

Just like 6 and 10 revitalised our list last season.

Heady days at Westpac.
Surely we are due for some luck to come our way. I don't want to trade for him, but of course we will have too as he will just leave.

Pick inside top 10 and I'm trying to think of who we would want. At the Suns it would be O'Meara, ain't going to happen. Brisbane I don't know.

I'm still really surprised by this.

This time last year Dusty walked out on the Tiges. 12 months later and he seems happy at Tigerland. Maybe this will get resolved and Beams will stay long term. You never know...

No Way!!

If thats on the Table, Take aish and 4 from Brisbane and ontrade Aish to Adelaide for Danger & their 2nd rd pick. Win - Win - Win

I am disappointed, but he will NEVER have greater currency than he has right now!!! So that means we need to maximize it and get the best deal that the AFL has EVER seen

Omeara and Pick 7 and 2nd round pick
Aish and Pick 4 and 2nd round pick

Bare minimum!!
