I went to a friends place and watched "Lucy" on blue-ray recently, what an interesting film, and the quality of the blue-ray on top end equipment was amazing.

Hatred a bit harsh! But everyone I know who's read the book, would like to change the last few pages!

Jo, the first one was enough. Most boring cinema experience I've had in years. And by all accounts, this one is even worse!

This review is pretty funny:

My daughter and her BF say the last hobbit movie on Boxing day and said it was really good.

I first read the Hobbit in the early 1980's and I struggle to see how you can make 3 movies out of a book half the size of one of the three episodes of Lord of the rings.

I struggle to see how you can struggle to see it's a blatant cash grab by Jackson and the movie studio. :P

That alone is the only reason why The Hobbit was split into 3 parts.

Unsurprisingly Jackson has done a Lucas and tarnished his excellent original trilogy of movies set in middle earth.

He also hasn't learnt from Lucas that a CGI overload isn't an improvement on good old fashioned model making that delivers a film a more natural look.

Hobbit reminds me a lot of Star Wars

The first 3 movie were great (Star Wars Ep 4, 5, 6 and LOTR)

The next 3 movies were vomit (Star Wars Ep 1, 2, 3 and Hobbit)

And Swoop nailed it. CGI overload ruined it.
