Add peas and gravy to that, I'd nearly murder for it right now. Haven't eaten a carb for 16 days.

Anyway, tonight was chilli garlic prawns with zucchini noodles and butter sauce. Made enough for 2 and the old girl just demolished her portion.

Kamb is incredibly expensive in Thailand. Pork and chicken the mainstay. I will be having lamb on my birthday in a fortnight at greek place not far from here.

It takes a while and I am usually half drunk by the time it arrives and I have stuffed myself with dips.

You can get a roast dinner on sundays but Thais do not understand that lamb should be pink. And tend to smother it with pommy veggies although one place I know does cook peas well.

I usually use Chuck steak but Mrs WPT made a Oyster blade curry in the slow cooker a few weeks ago for moi (she’s a vegetarian) and it was tasty and moist. So I’ve been using it since.

Mmmmm Moist.

:P

I just finished cooking a Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup for the old girl to have for lunch for today and the rest of the week.

Dinner tonight I'm going to do a small roast beef in the cast iron pan with onions and mushrooms, have that with some steamed greens.

Well done you for giving up the gaspers, walking and doing the keto. I’ve been slack this year and have put on what you’ve lost. My strictness with the carbs gave way but still eating LCHF more or less: just eating too much of it.
I still don’t eat bread or whatnot not biscuits but Mrs WPT and the youngest have been baking and making tarts, pies, cakes, etc. of course they don’t force me to eat it but when I did well I made sure I didn’t have anything around to tempt me.

However, that’s gonna change. I’m going to get back to it (it’ll make riding the bike easier) or sew my lips together

Cheers,

It's not actually Keto although bits are similar, it's all about insulin response. Google "Insulin Index" as opposed to Glycemic index and you'll see what I mean.

Last night BBQ lamb cutlets rubbed in: garlic, cumin, sumac, oregano, grated onion, pepper, salt, smokey paprika and olive oil. Had that with green beans, broccoli, asparagus, and sweet corn.

Tonight: Made over 60 meatballs: minced beef, oregano, garlic, mozarella, parmesan, eggs, parsely, hot paprika, pepper, salt. Browned in the slow cooker sear. Gotta make a tomato sauce for the meatballs to poach in. Gunna make a salad & zucchini noodles for the pasta.

Youngest boyfriend coming over after his work. Gotta think what to make for Mrs WPT though :?

Oops

My youngest daughter's boyfriend.

I'm binary and use the word "him" (not my daughters boyfriened) as my personal pronoun please

Just made the dough and prepared the apples for an apple cake (from this recipe)

https://www.inspiredtaste.net/43362/apple-pie/

with this pastry

I don't why I'm putting on weight

(It was in the 'Keto - yeah right' recipe book)

It's OK, it's offset by some double cream to go with it

Just felt like apple pie.
