3. Pendles - Was a cool head during the 1st half when we were struggling with our skill efficiency and was a driving force through the middle all night. Would like to see him zero in on the ball when running in one on one contests a bit more.

2. Swanny - Another Phar-Lapian performance.

1. Cloke - I know he missed a couple of shots that he should have kicked, but in a forward line that was generally dysfunctional and lairy for most of the night he was always competing hard and creating opportunites.

Wouldn't it have been awesome if Presti had slotted through one of his two shots on goal in the last, it would have blown the roof off the Ponsford!

Unlucky ommissions were Woody, Daisy, O'Bree, Dids & Beamer.
RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.

3. Pendles - Was everywhere. 30+ disposals to add to a great year so far
2. Daisy - 3 goals and kept his man quiet
1. Davis - Goal of the year contender (again).

Honorable mentions to : Presti for a Vavin Brown-like comeback; Maxwell for a gutsy mark and for sustaining another bump from J.Brown and getting back up (shades of Rd 10 '06); and Swan for adding to his tally. Has to be the smoky for the Brownlow this year.
