It's over.
Sunderland thump a dire Everton 3-0, thus saving themselves in a manner that a decent side should.
But that relegates both Newcatle and Norwich to the Championship. Neither of whom showed enough in the closing weeks.
Newcastle are throwing something like 5million at Rafa to stay, I am not sure he is going to do that. But I was expecting us to go down, we were flirting with relegation the last couple of seasons and deserved to drop.
There needed to be a cleanout of the side a long time ago, though Rafa was starting to get some players to wake up I think it was just way too late for us and we needed Rafa long before he got there.

Jamie Carragher wants to manage Everton, apparently, so that would be a very interesting one.
Also John Terry will be playing one more season at Chelsea, I think that would be a good move he can play a mentor role and assist in helping the future leaders of the club.
I'd be very surprised if Carragher managed Everton. He's unproven, plus their arch-rivals are obviously Liverpool.
Terry has been offered a new one-year deal and is now considering the offer. The club has handled this situation appallingly as they should have re-signed him already.
The Manchester United and Bournemouth match held at Old Trafford has been abandoned pre-match after a security threat emerged in the ground with supporters evacuated.
Very strange set of circumstances and hopefully security is being cautious more than anything else.
