We hated him when he played for Freo, so I'm sure he will end up a fan favourite

Not sure if its been mentioned in this thread earlier but was listening to Will Schofield speak about Freo's lack of respect towards Schultz. Never really had a proper & fair contract for the output.

Arrived as a rookie in 2019 & played 7 games. Went on to play every game for the next 4 years bar maybe 2 i think it was?? Delisted in 2020 and then relisted as a rookie. Placed 6th & 5th in the last two years of Freo's B&F. Moved to the senior list for the first time only this year?!?!? Interesting.

If he shows us some goals, we'll show him plenty of love!

^Maybe, but some respect & recognition of his footy would've helped ease any homesickness?

I hope we give Lochie No. 33, that sounds appealing all things considered. Just saying. !

pietillidie wrote:^I never knew Jack was 185cm as he plays more like Schultz' height. It's amazing how much taller and shorter different individuals play for their size (look how good a mark IQ is for his height).
...
Other examples:
Jamie Elliott 177cm. Plays tall (or did when he was younger).
Grundy 202cm. Plays very short.

^What a likeable lad. Looks rapt to be at the Pies and back in Melbourne, and should fit in perfectly.

Always great to welcome converts to the Club.

he seems genuinely excited to be a Pie and I am rapt that his first priority is to bring pressure to the forward line- this is essential to our style.

Importantly, he is also a proven goal kicker; we will need his goals in the next few years as Elliott and Mihocek eventually retire.

An excellent acquisition- all the better because it was unexpected.

To have added Bobby Hill, McStay and Schultz to our forward half in 12 months is excellent recruiting..
Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away...
