A Nicks BB Medal...your votes

[Johnson#26]

I think that we, Nicks BB/CP, should set up an award of sorts for the season. We'd vote on a 3-2-1 basis each week, anyone can vote, and, generally, votes close by the next match - you can only vote once.

Now I haven't checked this with anyone, but I assume it is all ok.

Two questions for you to fill in (if you wish):

1 - What should we call it (The Gavin Brown Medal...Nicks BB award etc)

2 - Can you please fill in your votes for the first three weeks. I'll start a weekly thread for each match for people to vote in.

How do we add it up though?

Do we give the Final 3 vote to the player who was nominated for 3 votes by the most people? or do we say "who got the most votes full stop?" and give that person three.

e.g. Player A gets the following votes: 3,3,3,1,1,1
Player B gets: 2,2,2,2,2,3

Who gets the final 3 vote? A or B?

I beleive player B should.

Fair enough. Not sure if we'll involve the actual website (magpies.net/nick) - I'll wait and see what Steve thinks.

But yes, 2 days should be enough time.

Zakal, we add up each players tally - for example, if three people voted for Chris Tarrant - one person gave him 1, another 2 and another 3, he'd end up with 6 for the week.

It takes into account everyone's vote, and each player will have a tally by seasons end.
