Terrible time slot and hardly anyone there. I just wonder how much money the club is losing on this team. We just seem to have no system at all. No forwards to speak of. The season can't finish quick enough.

Can't see how we avoid the spoon.

I would delist all of our forwards and start afresh

Match report:

https://www.afl.com.au/aflw/news/124725 ... od-magpies

Match was almost delayed due to a burst pipe in the centre square.
If it was a mens game it wouldn't have gone ahead.

Pies applied a lot of pressure in the first half making it difficult for Adelaide but as it has been all year, Adelaide got going in the 2nd half and kicked away.
Pies had no one who could go with Ebony Marinoff, who along with Annie Hatchard dominated in the centre. Both too skillful, strong and quick.

Pies struggled to move the ball forward when they were able to score a turnover - poor decision making & execution plus a well set up Adelaide defence.

Even in a clash of heads, Pies couldn't win - EJ off with concussion, Randall OK and plays on.

Lucy Cronin continues to be the one bright spot of the season continuing her good form against bigger and more experienced opponents.

Like the Richomd mens team, the Pies need to bottom out and rebuild.

My info has 6-8 players to be delisted at the end of the season.

Need to draft at least one each of a key position forward & back and midfielder
Players that have played footy since Auskick, not cross coders, and come through the development pathway.
Lucy Cronin is an example of the type of player coming through - can kick, mark, ground balls skills and game awareness.

Would also look at trading in a key forward (with some mobility & height) as the forward line has been an issue for the last 2 seasons.
