Nick was with Bailey Smith, and now has helped lure Houston. Sure they have a history, but if Nick wasn't such a good person, good stories like this don't happen.

I think Dan Housten needs some tatts, and needs to add an 'e' to his first name.
Re: Welcome to Collingwood - Dan Houston
Dan’s intro video is up. Bit of history of with the Daicos bros, Moore and Jordy, he’ll fit right in. Love his comments he wants to be a leader.

Gotta remember he initially picked Melbourne. (As did Waterman from WCE). If not for the shitshow at that club, we probably dont get Dan.

Petracca. The gift that keeps on giving. He grew up a Pies fan, and he's served our club well without ever wearing the black and white.

Ha... worth a read
Love this quote :
" He averages seven marks per week for the Oakleigh Chargers, but just 1.6 goals. This is attributed to the fact he spent the first few games in defence – a move that did not work out."
And many more Gems.
I don't blame the staff writers, his type is a hard call.

Ah, the Hammer is correct; of course Port beat Freo in final round [25], when Freo choked it, and Carlton got in 8th spot by default.Raw Hammer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 6:23 pmIncorrect, he has already served 4 of the 5 game suspension: the final regular season round, and 3 finals.
His suspension came from the second last H&A game of the regular season.
The hit on Rankine was indeed in round 24, the week prior...
So missing only our first game is now a little more palatable...
ps. fkuc you Cornes; you whiney little bitch...

Re: Welcome to Collingwood - Dan Houston
Geez, you wonder; again I say it comes back to sliding door moment scenarios...
With what, 10-15 seconds remaining in first quarter against Melbourne in June, Petracca decides to play hero and commit to a contested pack mark, that history now tells us he should well have stayed out of...
Moore would inexplicably knee Petracca in the ribs [couldn't do that again if you tried...] in this contest, resulting in his season ending by the second quarter.
Petracca would then go on to reflect on his life, career, and the administrational efforts of his employer, in the weeks following, whilst confined to a bed.
Much of this would find it's way onto social media, whilst the hack jackal journalists feasted upon this, and in the process created an erupting scandal which destabilised the last semblance of post Premiership harmony at Melbourne.
So yes, had this scenario not played out, Dreamons may have indeed secured some talent at our expense...
Moral of the story peeps? Keep your internal housekeeping private, and don't be foolish enough to sign ridiculous long-term contracts, binding you to such inept rabble, regardless of the money involved, which you could easily demand elsewhere.
