'Corn' and Collingwood (Kane Cornes)

For those wondering why Kane Cornes is referred to as "Corn", it stems from the Jeff Kennett interview on SEN a few years back and subsequently ended up in the AFL lexicon ~

I don't mind Kane. He can be a shit stirrer at times, but at least he'll take a position on an issue rather than sit on the fence and be a mouthpiece for the AFL and the clubs.

Hard to say who will be proven right from this current vantage point.

You only need to add two closely related facts together . . .

Cornes was the originator on the personal attacks on Ginnivan - no matter your stand on Ginnivan's actions they were at the time WITHIN the rules.
Now that Ginnivan is playing for Hawthorn Cornes can't sing his praises high enough.

This is not to say Cornes is a Collingwood hater - what I am saying is that Cornes deliberately played the Collihate card for his own career advancement.

He’s not far off being a clickbait YouTuber and is a humongous hypocrite. Did his best to destroy Ginnivan’s career at Collingwood for ducking and over celebrating goals — now loves Ginnivan doing it at another club. Says it all.

I do not listen to Corn or anyone else in the media (except Bucks) regarding anything and especially Collingwood.

There are plenty of posters on NBB who have much better insights and perspectives about all matters football than nearly all of the footy media.
