Lock her up,lock her up!The Maga crazies used to scream about Hillary Clinton back in 2016.Ironic that their cult hero is the only one who is likely to be locked up.But I suppose irony is lost on people like that.They probably wouldn’t even know the meaning of the word.

Yesterday I was watching CNN and they interviewed this guy who was totally unaware that Trump had to answer charges in court! He also said that this stuff was irrelevant to him because Trump is always going to get his vote.

Just curious, would you say Nelson Mandela should be disqualified from leading his country. He had conviction.

What about Martin Luther King? Would you say he shouldn't be considered for President had he not been murdered. He was a felon.

Factually that might be correct, but putting Trump in the same leadership group as Mandela and Luthor-King is an extreme stretch, except maybe in Trumps mind.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

I'm absolutely fine with criminals (either during or after jail time) running for president. I'm not fine with them being barred from voting, which is ironically the case in many US states. It's a weird double standard, that's for sure.

Ironically he probably could but only because the case was held in Democrat-dominated New York (one of the more progressive states regarding voting rights) and not Republican-governed Florida, where he actually lives.

You'd like to think that cognitive dissonance, particularly for the many Trump voters who are now convinced that the justice system is rigged in favour of the powers that be, might at some stage translate to bipartisan support for voting rights reform. But that would be a far too sensible outcome in a country as tribal as America.

The real question is whether - whatever the immediate polling changes might be - there is any impact that survives (either way) to election day.

Hunter Biden was just prosecuted and convicted by the same justice department that idiot Trump claims Biden is weaponising against him.If Biden had such a direct control over the justice department,why would he he allow it to prosecute his own son?It makes no sense at all.But then again,nothing that Trump or his followers says makes any sense.

It's a struggle for Republicans over Hunter (Good name for someone buying a gun). Here's a bloke who buys a gun and they want him to go to jail for at the same time they spew the Second Amendment at every opportunity. God Bless America.
