I could kick 7 against Claremont. He hasn't played again since then, will be out for another 5 with a bad hammy strain, is nearly 30 and not interested in the demands of AFL.
More chance of Rupert coming back.

mid season draft, why not, seems an improvement on Begg or Steene or whoever
Steene’s a kid going great guns. He’s going to need a bit of patience, time and … you know what used to be known as a bit of support.

Begg’s a bit further down the track. If he doesn’t pull a rabbit out of the hat soon then it’ll be curtains. Still a bit of … you know … support would probably be great.

Not obviously playing but I noticed that the interchange steward in today’s Adelaide derby was Paul Rizonico, one of my favs when he played in the 80’s.
I term the current Collingwood attack based strategy “Unceasing Waves” like on a stormy and windy day with rough seas. A Perfect Storm ☔️

Ollie Henry nominated for Mark of the Round.

Adam Treloar nominated for Goal of the Round.

Mark Keane fined $3750 (with early plea) for striking (intentional, low impact & body contact).

What concerned me over summer was the delisting of Ruscoe, when he might have been called upon to take Murphy's role in the event of an abrupt enforced retirement during 2024.

Moore or Frampton fall over again prior to September, we might start to look vulnerable for height...

^ I wasn't surprised by the decision, but I think we made a mistake delisting him last year. Would have come in handy especially in light of Murphy's premature retirement.
