Cameron will be better from 2024 onwards than Grundy.
Based on what evidence? Nicksters making non sensical comments like this without addressing why this would happen don’t add anything worthwhile to the discussion. Please tell us the reasons

Grundy played OK last night but was clearly beaten by the Cameron/Cox Combo. The ruck wasn't why we lost the game.

He's not exactly the upgrade on Ginni we were expecting, but give him time.

Grundy seems to have settled well into the Swans; let's face it, if he is not 1st ruck he is not worth playing, but he has gone alright so far.

Off topic, but did you guys get a look a Stephenson in the North Giants game? Looks like Kane Cornes nowadays! With less hair!

After 3 rounds, Grundy has one more AFLCA award vote than the entire Collingwood team put together.

It’s obvious a clause in his contract that the coach must give him votes every second week
It isn’t because of his form that’s for sure

They must be in negotiations for a contract extension

Just the 142 AF points for the Swans today, taking Witts to the cleaners, of course.
Grundy was critical to the Swans matching the Suns at the coalface, the prized ruck recruit having an equal career-high 11 tackles while also gathering 24 disposals, 29 hitouts and booting a goal in his 200th AFL match.

Just the 9 coaches' votes this week. So, he's only been best on ground twice, so far this season. Really, what's he done in the other 4 matches? :P

Only the 134 AF points against the top team (before his team just toppled them to third) today. His tally was 15 more than the next highest player on either team - but I'm sure it was just another statistical blip and that if he hadn't played, the Swans would actually have beaten the Giants by 10 goals instead of 5.

After 8 games last season, the Swans were 3 and 5 and this year they are 7 and 1. You'd think they'd be very disapplointed with Grundy's recruitment - how do you hide a player who is only BOG about every 2 or 3 games?

AF points should be adjusted to remove hitouts to be a fair comparison. When only 2 players can be involved in a specific contest, it's a bit of a stupid measure to include.

Not underplaying Grundy's importance or excellent form but I have always hated the overstating the performance of a ruckman by including hitouts in AF points.
