Oof. With 13% of votes in, the "none of these candidates" box is leading Nikki Haley 54% to 41%.
Mike Pence, a candidate who dropped out over three months ago, has received 4% of the vote so far.

I think you should prepare to be disappointed.doriswilgus wrote:Trump just lost his ridiculous immunity claim in the court of appeals. The orange clown is going down and his cult followers better be prepared for some devastating news this year. This isn’t going to end well for them.Perhaps they should attach themselves to another false god,or at least one who isn’t going to jail.

Why?The juries aren’t buying Trump’s bullshit and lies anymore. In the E Jean Carroll case, she was asking for 15 million dollars in damages, but the jurors were so repulsed by Trump’s behaviour in the ciourt ,they actually paid her 83 million in damages,That doesn’t augur well for Trump in the four criminal cases he faces. He’s gong down no matter what his delusional followers think or wish.roar wrote:I think you should prepare to be disappointed.doriswilgus wrote:Trump just lost his ridiculous immunity claim in the court of appeals. The orange clown is going down and his cult followers better be prepared for some devastating news this year. This isn’t going to end well for them.Perhaps they should attach themselves to another false god,or at least one who isn’t going to jail.

OK, so the investigator has found that Biden "wilfully" kep classified documents from his time as VP, but decided not to charge him because he would present to a jury as "A well meaning elderly man with a poor memory" which is how he presented to investigators.
Aside from the clear differences in this case to Trump who tried to conceal the documents he kept, how the fvck can Biden be considered fit to be POTUS again? The guy should be in a nursing home with a blanket over his knees, it's clear his elevator doesn't go to the top floor anymore.

As soon as Biden's people found the papers, they owned up and gave them back, Trump tried to hide and shred them when asked to return them. Different set of circumstances.
The point is, Biden's cheese is sliding off his cracker. Apparently he asked one of the investigators if he was still the VP FFS.

If he was legally allowed to keep them then I'm not sure I understand what the issue is. Much like Clinton's emails, someone needs to break this down slowly for those of us in the cheap seats, because it seems impossible to understand what is and isn't acceptable around classified information.stui magpie wrote:https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-02-09/joe-biden-probe-reveals-then-vice-president-took-war-information/103445926

Similar to the Trump situation, he wasn't legally entitled to keep them. They were classified documents that should have been either left behind or destroyed when he left office. Taking them home was illegal.
That's not really the point though. The point is, the only reason he's not being charged is because the investigators basically think he's senile and it was a mistake.
