^ Not sure if you overlooked of perhaps don't rate him but I'd have McInnes ahead of any of Carmichael, Macrae, Ruscoe, Kelly and Bianco,
Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood.

Callum Twomey @CalTwomey·11m

Tippa (retirement game) set to be one of at least six changes for the Bombers' final game vs. Pies. Brad Scott saying today at least six players unavailable through injury - Draper, Stringer, Wright all didn't train, Guelfi out with the hamstring from last week.

I know that it won’t happen at this stage of the season but I wouldn’t mind going with Cox as the sole ruckman with Johnson as the 2nd ruck.
It seems that since Cameron has come back that the structure has changed from the dominant force early to a lacklustre ruck setup.
Cameron for me has been very disappointing, getting beaten more often than not, particularly around the ground, whilst also not being as effective as last year in front of goal.
I think Cox offers more based on this years performances and therefore should be 1st ruck. Cameron of last year would be my preferred option but he hasnt played anywhere near that level this year.
As was evident on last Friday night when Cox turned the game purely on effort and work rate.

Agree with Slang.
Cox is a better ruck than Cameron...but
Since Round 7 last year, when Cox has rucked solo we're 5 wins / 0 losses. The Cameron/Cox duo is 21/6

I still think the duo is our best set up.

I have a lot of time for Bianco, about time he got the gig now.

It would seem Essendon aren't exactly going all out for the win.

I'd like the instructions to be simple this week, don't overload the boys with too much.
Start with the defence, keep it simple and give them the task of keeping the opposition under 60 points.

5 tackles per man. Get around your teammate if they're awarded a holding the ball free.

I agree with Kane Popcorn in The Age today, we need to show a hunger to win, and win big, against Essendon if we’re to get to the GF. Seeing it from other clubs, but we’ve been a bit lacking the past month.

Yep definitely a big cue in the rack.

That means this game is simply about one thing. Playing ourselves back into form. Win by 100 points Pies. No ifs, buts, or maybes.

Did people not pick up the news that Johnson hurt his ankle at training yesterday? Won't play.
