Agree. We are on the wrong end of utterly reprehensible umpiring incompetence. The "advantage " paid to Henry was absurd. He played on at the instant before the umprire blew the whistle. Impossible for him to have known the free was paid.
Many other decisions went against us. So did many random bounces of the ball. This no doubt served to discourage a situation where we were being genuinely outplayed. But it is hard to amass a momentum of resistance when all is going against you.
Just hope we can stem the tide in 2nd quarter.

I think a lot of our supporters find it hard that we are a bottom 4 team at the moment. This is where we are at. We will get better. It will take time.

A quarter of missed chances, notably Henry’s decision making. Flu hit more than Pendles this week, kept it pretty quiet though from what I was told. Missing Ginni’s spark in the forward line. Smashed at the centre bounces, our setup there didn’t work and needs to be addressed asap. Take away that goal from a non-mark, and add one to us for the terrible advantage call, and it’s more like it.

We’re middle of the ladder without Grundy, Pendles.
