I'm a big rap for the Purge concept; they had to take this to an extreme for something different, but it should be the last of the franchise really. The two seasons of the TV series were worth a look too...

Watched a couple on the flights to Darwin and back.

Kong vs Godzilla (or maybe the other way round) on the way up. Nice special effects, killed some time.

Tom and Jerry. 2021 release, toons and hooman beans on the same screen. Kids movie, bit of fun, I actually laughed a couple of times.

Last night I watched a MIFF documentary on women in electronic music that was fascinating: Sisters with Transistors. It focussed on 5 or 6 women who were pioneers of electronic music, including Delia Derbyshire, composer of the Dr Who theme. The women were a cross between mad scientists and musical geniuses. Brilliant!

Melbourne International Film Festival. Considering your taste in film, it's not anything you need to worry about :P

Any mum who attends MIFF is, for me, by definition, a MILF. ;)

The Suicide Squad, watched with Pizza and Sangria.

Didn't waste time introducing new characters or setting things up, pretty much straight into it and before you know it, new characters becoming dead left right and centre.

Wasn't bad, enjoyed it for a mindless flick. David would love it for the chick Rat Catcher 2 :P

My favourite was the shark bloke. Not very bright but a simple yet effective fighting style. Just pick people up by the waist and drop them head first into your mouth, chomp, nom nom nom.

Inmate #1 the rise of Danny Trejo

Watch it. or else.

Seriously, it was a great watch. From using heroin at 8, armed robbery, years in jail to a movie career.
