White Tiger on Neflix.

Set in India based on a “Man Booker” prized novel.

Good not great. Compelling but too linear (and a bit predictable accordingly) for my likes.

Flight (2012)

Starring Denzel Washington. Never seen it before. Was surprised. Probably a little far fetched, but whatever. I thought it was really good and something different.

Passangers (2016)

Starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt... and Andy Garcia apparently. I've seen this 3 or 4 times now. I'm fascinated with the concept of this film. I mean... there's just so many questions. Like how bored did they get? Did they have kids? Who carked it first and what happened after that?

It's kind of creepy what he did. I mean how pissed would you be? There's just so many ways this could have gone and apparently the original script had different twists including the film starting with the female character waking up and then discovering the male character was awake too and later discovering what he did.

Imagine if this was Steven King... The twists and turns this could take. That guy could have woken up anyone. He could have done anything....

King Kong (2005)

Starring Naomi Watts and Jack Black. This is so much better than I remember. Must have seen it back when it first came out and remember liking it, but I didnt remember much about the actual film. A bit worried with Jack Black in there, but he went alright. Those final scenes are really sad.

I've seen the doco from '88. Is that the film from '71? Or is it a newer one?

its an idiot thing where some inian dude in England falls off his bike, when he comes to he is the only person in the world who knows the Beatles songs, so he performs them as his own and gets world fame. It’s so dumb. And insulting, very unpc but notin a funny way, it’s just .. dumb. Hubby picked it. He also chose the latest star is born remake which I also hated.

It's called Yesterday, right? I saw the trailer for that and thought it was the worst premise for a film I've ever heard.

Last Night:

The Butler (2013)

Starring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey.

A historical drama film that inspired by a true story. But once again, it was disappointing to find out after the film that much of it was made up or dramatised for the film.

However, I thought it as still a great film. I just went researching into the real life person afterwards and discovered that there were many differences including his name. That takes away from it a bit for me.

Other cast include:
Robin Williams as Dwight D. Eisenhower
James Marsden as John F. Kennedy
Liev Schreiber as Lyndon B. Johnson
John Cusack as Richard Nixon
Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan
Jane Fonda as First Lady Nancy Reagan
Mariah Carey, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Lenny Kravitz in other roles.

A Fish Called Wanda (1988)

Starring John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis, Kevin Kline, and Michael Palin. A comedy film based around a diamond heist whose thieves start to double-cross one another. Cleese plays a barrister that gets caught up in the case.

I had never seen this film before, but I remember my parents talking about it back when it first came out. And for some reason I'd gotten it mixed up with "Splash", another 80's comedy. I think because the cover of the film made me believe there was some kind of large fish in the film. Haha.

I mostly enjoyed the film, but have always believed that 80's comedies dont age that well.

Great movie, the old one was too!

If you want something, well , bananas to watch, guy ritchies latest with the gorgeous Charlie Hunnam from sons of Anarchy Matthew McConaughey COlin Farrel andhugh grant called The Gentleman, the first bit is really strange, but stay with it, it’s a dark dark comedy, really far out there, crazy shit, very entertaining but you have to think about it!
