He came back out and sat on the bench in his tracksuit. He seems to have been concussed.Magpiefan3 wrote:Is Roughead ok?

yup, losing would have been just the worst.doriswilgus wrote:As others have said it was important just to get the four points in the punishing schedule the A.F..L has given us.I’m just glad we weren’t the first team to lose to Adelaide. That would have been hard to live down.
Great response and hopefully we can carry this into the Melbourne game.

TRUE mate, like u cannot give 110%, you can only ever give 100% and no more.

Team high 7 inside 50s tonight, of course. His contribution is consistently under-rated by Collingwood supporters.simon tonna wrote:ive been disappointed for a loooonnnngggg time. remember the 2012 to 17. no leadership from him ever.think positive wrote:Agree far from the worstWhat'sinaname wrote: Maybe Buckley, enough is enough of playing Mayne inside F50. He is so much better on the wing.
Is anyone else disappointed Sidey has not stepped up?
same situation now and not surprised.

obviously not a great start but I think I prefer a side finishing strongly rather than a side starting well and finishing weak.
Roughead will take a week I expect - a history of concussion and Moore will be available. Dunn looked effective.
JT a little better again. Sier and Wills didn't look wrong.

Got the win so credit to the team for finding something in the second half, standing up and delivering when it counted. Injuries or no injuries, we just needed to win tonight no matter what. Some good signs but there's still a lot we need to do in order to improve and compete with the better teams in the competition. Our decision making and turnovers continue to haunt us and if it weren't for some shoddy kicking in front of goal by the crows then who knows how things might have fared. Why we don't take the game on more beggars belief because we look dangerous when we do but instead we resort to slow ball movement. I'm happy to kick the team when I think they deserve it and also give them credit when it's due. Hopefully we can maintain the momentum and keep moving forward.

Cameron has passed Cox by after a handful of games.
Four years younger, better footy smarts and has an appetite that Cox seems to have lost.
Slowly getting better with every game. Just leave him there this season and let him develop both his support rucking and forward craft ( unless he goes backwards of course )

Remarkably, we’d be outright third if we didn’t sh!t the bed vs Fremantle.
THIRD!
Anyway, as it stands, just 0.6% behind Richmond (in a year where percentage seemingly once didn’t count for us ... hahaha, amazing right?).
4-day break vs the 6-day Melbourne break doesn’t bode well, but Melbourne are junk. If we somehow manage to defeat Melbourne, we get a 10 day break before North and, pending Cunnington’s fitness, could set ourselves up for a bizarre finals campaign.

The performance in the second half was not the prettiest, but the team showed more guts than in the last 3 weeks combined.
Adams battled hard but his disposal still lets him down. One cannot question his commitment.
Crisp was the difference between the two sides I think. His kicking into the F50 was superb as was his run and carry.
Cameron provided a focal point albeit against a lowly opposition but he has shown that he at least should be persevered with. Apart from his shank, he played well and took some good marks
Some players unfortunately have continued their poor form and I think only injuries have kept them in the side.
Maybe this is the year to put more games into players like T Brown, Murphy etc.
Happy with the 4pts, but still quite a bit to work on.
