And Liverpool's letdown continues. Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool.

If they're going to lose anyway, they might as well play the kids to look to the future.

In other news, Barcelona crashed to a loss against Osasuna, 1-2.
Real Madrid beat Villareal 2-1 to continue a long post-COVID winning streak and clinch the La Liga title.

Zidane is being feted by the media for this revival.

Even before this, media were asking whether Messi is part of the solution or part of the problem at Barcelona.

................................

If I'm understanding it correctly, today's round of La Liga matches looks like it was a bloodbath! 9 red cards in 10 matches, including two in which both sides were down a player (Celta Vigo vs. Levante, Real Betis vs. Alaves).

Liverpool 5-3 Chelsea.

Another goalfest. Maybe I should put money on both sides scoring in every Chelsea game. Defence-minded coaches would be tearing their hair out!

When is next season scheduled to start?

Now the season's over, I can try to find out how many draws there were (should be quick and easy) and how many scoreless draws (may be slow and painful). Those numbers are stunningly low, it seems.
