Disappointing way to end the season. GWS showed more desire early in the match and out their head over the ball.
Reckon our week off helped in the last qtr, GWS stopped. Proud that we at least didn’t lay down.
That last quarter was intense.
Reckon we were a real chance against the Tigers too. Bugger.

Think I heard the comments that we were goalless for 63 minutes

Any one else hear this. And if so you won’t win a lot of games with those stats

I don't want to hear anything about how brave we were in the final quarter.

To many of the midfield group and forwards weren't hard enough in the wet for 3/4 quarters when the game was ultimately lost.

The defence battled hard all day once again and should be proud but as our season progressed and our scoring dried up you have to wonder if we sacrificed to much offensively ability for defensive capability in the end.

Now let's be absolutely fkucking crystal clear on this: WAS WELLS FIT TO PLAY?

Nobody tell me that his presence and clean hands, wouldn't have made a difference, as opposed to all the half arsed, fumbling &%%&-up merchants that slaughtered the pill today?!

One might even say our defense was brave in the final quarter.

Can we acknowledge that the coach many of you love to bash nearly dragged us over the line with a three-quarter-time rev-up?

I don't see what else, structurally, changed.

Well weren't we scoreless for the final 40 minutes against Geelong, which I blew up about in that post game thread?
But NO! It was all tactical apparently, and not an indictment on a bunch of squibs who have no idea on the concept of front and square crumbing.

Gotta say, great game by the GWS - away at the G, hostile crowd, key players out, davis hobbled. they were just too good. Ran out of legs in teh last and we nearly pinched it but wasn't to be, but no goals in 2nd and 3rd q = diid'nt deserve it.
Pretty gutted but life goes on it's jsut a game, but I feel a lot more sorry for the players and coach, they must be devastated - and premiership window may not stay open for much longer.

I"m inclined to say GWS just handed the ship to Richmond but who knows? I didn't think they had a hope in hell in this game either, and they get key players back.

A lot of what ifs, but what if it had been dry? I think they still would have won.

WHY? Did one of those clueless numpties in the coaches box tell him he wasn't good enough to get selected over their pet squibs?

Said it last year after GF loss and say it again - no killer instinct in this club at all. Obviouly 'enough is enough' is not enough.

This club is purey built on making Finals. NOT winning Grand Finals. We never talk as a club to build a list for a Grand Final. We build a list to make Finals.

McGuire will feed us bullsh1te again and we will be back next year all happy and content in the hope we go one better.

I said it before in a previous post and it's worthy again - When I saw McGuire run around like a pork chop after beating Geelong, I thought how pathetic is that when you haven't proven anything as yet.
