I actually watched Kong - Skull Island last night. Had Loki in it and wasn't a bad movie
Don't think I've watched a King Kong movie since I saw the re-make of the original in the 70's, but this was pretty good.

Saw Solo yesterday afternoon with the 20 year old.Culprit wrote:Went to the Movies today (yes I have finally paid). Went to Gold Class to watch Start Wars Solo. I have read a plethora of reviews which some bag it and some like it. We thought it was a great movie with action, laughs and a story line. Honestly does Ron Howard ever have a bad movie? 9/10.
Great fun, very enjoyable.
The other half of the family - red headed chick and her dad - went to see Oceans 8 instead. Both enjoyed it. Good rainy afternoon viewing.
Only downside were the crowds at Chaddy.
Seems everyone decided it was the place to be on a rainy day and car parks were more mental than ever.

Looking for something to watch last night, happened upon fantastic beasts and where to find them.
I liked the harry potter books and movies so I thought I'd give it a look before going to bed. Missed the first 10 minutes, but ended up watching the whole thing.
Very not bad, quite enjoyed it except for the nagging sensation that I recognised one of the more minor actors but couldn't think of where.
Resorting to google and IMDB, the guy was Ezra Miller who played the Flash in Justice League. Quirky kind of actor.
Had a similar reaction tonight, flicked it over to US Marshalls to be confronted with a very young Ironman
