Believe it or not "In the heat of the night". The only channel in english in the boonies near the Thai-Cambodia border. A bunch of interbred loonies running around with guns. Seems nothing has changed in 50 years and still won;t.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

"My Teacher's Wife" starring Tia Carrere.

I cant see it listed anywhere in 1995s Oscar nominations, must be some kind of mistake.

I started to watch Annihilation last night, gave it ten minutes and then flicked it. I will add There is a good reason why Netflix movies should not win awards as they are just shit.

Culprit wrote:"The Shape of Water". It reminds me of beauty and the beast and the movie starts off with a woman masturbating to an egg timer and from the point I was wondering what was going on. The movie is well done and reminds me of the old 60's horror movies. Interesting Movie with some great acting. 6.5 out of 10.

"The Post", Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep are outstanding. This is a great movie about the first amendment and President Nixon trying to shutdown revelations about the Vietnam War and keeping the people in the dark. We really enjoyed it. 8 out of 10.
Hubby picked the Post tonight. damn tie me to it and shoot me! Hubby enjoyed it too, for once I fell asleep, not him. I was bored shitless! But then I got up at 5am 2 days running, instead of about 6.30-7, ugh.

Yes, but many years ago! It's probably my favourite Hitchcock film.

If you are a gamer, "Ready Player One", excellent movie. 9/10 If your not a gamer then don't bother.

Swinging Safari if you want a movie that takes the piss out of mid 70's Australia. 5/10

Black Panther, rated really well but all it is about is a Black Superhero so Blacks don't feel left out I guess. 5/10

Black Panther was always a bit-player in the Marvel comics universe, but even back in the 70s it was a good gesture by Marvel to introduce a Black Superhero as to not alienate market-share comicbook fans.

The fact that Disney have spent big $$$ on his own feature was a huge gamble but I hope it found it's target audience. It's worth a look if you are a fan of the Marvel movies, if not, you'd be like WTF is going on here...
