That's good. [I was going to ask if you all thought we should check on him, today being the 2-wk mark.]

If you don't mind, I'll have his share of the dessert --- comfort food to make up for the other dinner guests.

Lamb shanks.

Put them in the crock pot this morning with some stock, tin of tomatoes, some fresh rosemary and onion and some other herbs and some red wine. Cooked for 7 hours, took em out just before and blitzed the sauce with the stick blender. Reducing that a bit now, then put aside til dinner time.

Yum.

If David was here, he'd be drooling. :P

2nd night at Crown in Perth and I went for a New York strip with jacket spud at The Junction Grill... sensational!

Had lunch at the much hyped Camfield... next to the much hyped Optus Stadium near the cas today... all I can say is.. 'Very disappointing'.

The bridge might be done by next footy season.... and you might get a seat where you xan actually see the game.

I think WA is so good at continually electing not so good members to our parliament.6
Is there a prize for that?

Hah,

Ok, technically only the salads were leftovers, the cutlets were left over from Sunday in the sense that I didn't cook them and they were still in the fridge. Cooked them tonight with some lemon pepper and lemon juice.

Porterhouse, melt in the mouth, and really really good give me more chips! The Toyota car club put on a remembering Peter night for my brother in law, and they invited us all, and shouted us dinner. Pub in port Melbourne, really good food! It was a nice night, good to see people telling funny stories, and they had lots of photos and video of him. Man it was exhausting though. Cheers
