watched John Wick Chapter 2 a few nights back. There will be another.
had a look at Logan tonight. Last of the Wolverine movies. Watching Hugh with the grey beard and the general tone of the movie, I couldn't help comparing it to a Mel Gibson movie, Blood father.
Apart from that trip, good movie.

Wonder Woman.
Wow!
^Logan was different, in a good way. I liked it.
Thought it'd be really cheesy when I was hearing about the daughter and a couple of other things that were to happen, but they handled all that really well.
^^^^Dr. Strange was a bit of a risk for the big movie studio, going with a less well known comic-book character in a big budget movie.
Again, I thought they'd melt cheese all over it, but was suitably impressed with how they handled most elements. Will be interesting to see the personalities of the Dr. and Stark interacting in the next Avengers.

^Visually, abso-bloody-lutely!! (Linda Carter has been relegated to #2 )
The plot was a tad absurd as is often the case with superhero origin stories, although not too bad as far as these things go if you let yourself get into it and not pick it apart.

Una
Pretty disturbing subject, but really well done. Rooney Mara was superb and Ben Mendelsohn was completely convincing as the predatory paedophile. So convincing that I had to stop myself at times from wondering if what he'd done was really that bad before being snapped back to remembering she was a child.
Think some people might find it a bit slow, but I was enthralled to the end.

Watched Last vegas with the old girl. About 30 minutes in she said it was making fun of old people. She changed her mind by the end.
I was watching it looking at landmarks. The Whisky Lickers bar the bird who ended up with Michael Douglas is in Fremonst St. You could see the screen over the street in some of the footage.
The Aria is the Aria.
God I miss Vegas.
