Confirmation.

The Clarance Thomas/Anita Hill controversy. WOW. This film had a massive impact on me. (And hubby, I can see why he doesn't think Trump is a total dickhead! Scary!)

I have never heard of either, but gees, it's a hell of a story. Really well made movie. And yes, I believe her, I've done some back up reading too, and personal experience also backs her up. I think most women my vintage would have had some experience of inappropriate remarks aimed in their direction. I guess it depends on your idea of what that is too. And being an only female in a male dominated field probably did two things: exposed me to more of it, and also, made me less sensitive to it.

As I smash head on into menopause, and the grumpiness that makes me less tolerant of being treated as a second class citizen by a few vintage males I know, I'm realising how much crap I have taken in the past that I should have spoken up about, and said, 'no, that's not acceptable". And now that I'm doing that apparently I'm 'not in a pleasant mood today" (hubby's oncologist!) or suffering PMT, or apparently, I'm a man hater! This one was hubbies view on Anita Hill! And I gave him what for!

It's a movie that I will recommend to every woman I know! If only for the dignified way Anita handles herself in the movie. Of course I didn't watch the real footage, but research suggests she really is that dignified. One thing I do know, is that bringing sexual harassment out of the cupboard can only be a good thing. I have a couple of stories as an apprentice that could curl toes, given the comments were thrown at a 17 year old. I'd recommend this movie to everyone.

Gotta love gold class!

Bought three pack of the Marine, $16 from big W, watched the first one, with John Cena, loved it, good action and plenty of humour! Half way through no 2, and it's got me flying on the tready!

I watched Superman vs Batman tonight.

First couple of times I tried I couldn't focus, tonight I was in the right mood and was able to enjoy it. It has faults, but I can see it now as a platform movie and it was actually good.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

Yep, sequels and spin offs.

This was the platform for the Justice League movie, introducing Wonder Woman, a glimpse of Flash and Aquaman, the dream sequence with Darkseid's Omega symbol in the ground and the flying demons.

DC have a whole universe planned, this movie was the platform.

It's a long movie. Could have cut an hour off it.

That's what the editor thought for the theatrical release and it made no sense. The extended Blu Ray edition is a much more coherent film.
