It was good, but the main character is kind of insufferable. Pretty acidic critique of New York literary culture and the egomaniacs that it produces.

I watched that last night too. I thought it was good, not great, but still actually better than the books which doesn't often happen.

I read the three books, channelling Orwell and Huxley without 10% of the skill as a writer. The premise is great, if Steven King got his hands on you'd really have something.

I watched Escape from New York on Netflix on the new TV. Very bloody nice. Once I rig up some real sound to this thing it's going to be damn special.

I watched Identity with Ray Liotta again this afternoon, it's a bit of a psychological thriller, I watched it last year with Laura and thought I would get it again and watch it again.

I also watched Ant-Man, I really liked it, I've slowly started to enjoy these types of movies I only really liked Batman and Spider-Man before. Final movie for the night is 21, with Josh Gad, Kevin Spacey, and Laurence Fishbourne. It's about MIT students counting cards in Las Vegas. I remember watching a documentary on this on CI a few years back.

Just watched Dredd.

Apart from the overall premise, including uniform and weaponry, which cam from the comic, nothing at all like the Stallone movie.

Judge Dredd meets Batman Begins with a touch of mad max thrown in.

Wasn't bad at all.

I didn't mind Dredd as well, I watched it on Netflix and then bought the DVD, it was a pretty decent movie.

I watched Friday The 13th from 2009, it wasn't too bad, I don't think I liked the way it ended really.

^ Loved Ant-Man.

Saw Hunger Games final last week, was severely underwhelmed.
Enjoyed the first few, not so much the last one.

I watched Ted 2, and Vacation over the weekend, I didn't mind either. I think it might be time to break out Christmas Vacation at some point, still my favourite out of them all.

We had Christmas vacation on loop for our Christmas party tonight, had about 30 -40 people over, great night! And Christmas vacation never gets old!

I watched it last night too. Loved it. I love everything Michael B Jordan has done since The Wire. He's an awesome actor. Best thing Stallone has done for a long time too.

Can't wait for the next one.
