Asian champions after a fantastic win tonight.

Luongo scored a beauty in the 44th minute against the run of play. Then just as the champagne was about to break out Korea equalised in the 92nd minute.

The Socceroos has to win it again and somehow Juric right on the byline and with his arse on the ground and two defenders towering over him managed to get to his feet get passed the two defenders and centre the ball across goal for Troisi to smash home the deflection from the keeper in 105th minute.

Great game but on a sad note Kruse injured his archilles and will be out for 12 months. Idiot of the night award goes to the Iranian ref who gave Kruse a yellow card after he went down in clear agony for what I assume was diving.

You little beauty! :D

Heartbreaking when the South Koreans equalised in the final minutes of normal game time but what a nerve racking period of extra time! Amazing for Australian football that we have delivered here after coming so close in the 2011 Asian Cup against Japan!

Credit to South Korea for not giving up and providing us with a real test but we've passed with flying colours now!

Also such a pity that Robbie Kruse injured his achilles and will be out for 12 months but as Sandy Roberts once exclaimed in the 1990 Grand Final "he will feel no pain tonight" :D

No cards to be seen in extra time when the South Koreans started dropping like flies .

Anyway, apart from Robbie Kruse injury, was a great night for the Socceroos. Good to see all that hard work and planning pay off.

Well done to Ange Postecoglou for keeping the faith and sticking to his guns in the face of media criticism .
