Ultra violent drivel.

4/10.
8/10 from me. Great action movie, haven't seen the action genre done this well in a long time. The fight scenes are verywell done, with a lot of effective martial arts techniques shown in combination with the more flashy choreography.

A stylish take on the revenge/action movie, I heartily recommend.

It was one dimensional with a weak central story IMHO.

Poor action flick and doesn't come close to the classics in this genre.

Saw Birdman with Mrs WPT earlier at The Crown Casino (Gold Class) no riff raft
X'mas present from 2013!!

Angry, violent, indulgent, in your face & some damn fine music & acting. Pretty good film.

That was the first time I've ever been to The Crown Complex.

Cake - 6.5/10
Whiplash - 6.5/10

Thought they were both pretty average movies, although Aniston and JK Simmons' performances were brilliant.

Just watched Maps to the Stars. I liked it for a while, but the ending was a bit overwrought (spoiler: everybody dies).

Just finished watching John Wick and would give it 7/10. It won't be a classic by any means, but if you will enjoy it if you like that genre of movie.

i had a look at john Wick tonight.

Didn't mind it, pretty similar plot to every 80's B grade action movie, piss off someone who you shouldn't have pissed off and all hell breaks loose. I did like the line about how they called him the boogeyman but he wasn't the boogey man, he was the one who went in to kill the boogeyman.

I'll give it a 7/10 cos I like that genre.

I watched Fury yesterday with Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf, it was very interesting to see also pretty sad in the end I guess all war movies have their sadness attached. It's about a tank crews final days of World War II in Europe. Director David Ayer was influenced by the service of veterans in his family and by reading books, such as Belton Y. Cooper's Death Traps which was apparently about the American Armored warfare in WW2.

Ayer wanted to make the movie as more realistic than most of the World War II Dramas out there, I thought it was quite good actually.
