Hatred a bit harsh! But everyone I know who's read the book, would like to change the last few pages!Wokko wrote:I loved the Hunger Games up until the last book, I wont go into too much detail because I don't want to rain on your parade but I'm really reluctant to see the movie conclusions due to my hatred of what she did in that last novel.

Jo, the first one was enough. Most boring cinema experience I've had in years. And by all accounts, this one is even worse!
This review is pretty funny:

I was home sick with flu, and by the time I was 1/2 way through, I'd dozed off a dozen times, and I just wanted to die! Can't believe you went to the pictures to see it!

My daughter and her BF say the last hobbit movie on Boxing day and said it was really good.
I first read the Hobbit in the early 1980's and I struggle to see how you can make 3 movies out of a book half the size of one of the three episodes of Lord of the rings.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
I struggle to see how you can struggle to see it's a blatant cash grab by Jackson and the movie studio.stui magpie wrote:My daughter and her BF say the last hobbit movie on Boxing day and said it was really good.

That alone is the only reason why The Hobbit was split into 3 parts.
Unsurprisingly Jackson has done a Lucas and tarnished his excellent original trilogy of movies set in middle earth.
He also hasn't learnt from Lucas that a CGI overload isn't an improvement on good old fashioned model making that delivers a film a more natural look.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!
