It's the reason I seldom post here anymore. Nicks has degenerated into a war of words between about 6 or 7 posters going in circular arguments throughout every thread. When I do come here I wonder why I bothered.

Never thought I'd prefer Big Footy to Nick's, but it's happened.

See you over there. About done with the acceptance on nicks of 1 or 2 obvious trolls, collie dog being the most blatant and obvious and the constant fighting that's comes as a result of their posts.

I note quite a few posters i used to enjoy reading have disappeared yourself as one, tannin , and since David became a mod he rarely posts as well.

It's a shame.

I personally refuse to be part of any "brigade" as for me there's a balance. It's neither the end of world, nor is it good times at collingwood at present.

On this premise alone, how can anyone contemplate a first round pick and a second round pick is acceptable ?
Surely this is not that hard. Precedence is the Judd deal. Redden and or Mayes do not have the upside of Kennedy and pick 4 is less than pick 3 (which Carlton received and they got a 2nd rounder also). It was accepted across the industry that the Judd deal was appropriate. It also needs to be noted that Beams is 2 years younger than Judd at the time of a trade.

If Judd was a 10, Beams is a 7.5 and Pick5 and Redden / Mayes is 75% of the Judd deal.
I think suggesting Beams is a 5 against where Judd was is a bit rich.
