Lol. Yes, it is a bit of a relief when the final credits roll. :)

The ending's kind of weird, to be honest. It's like the story finishes about an hour before the film does, and the actors are just sitting down with nothing to do. Oh, and someone gets shot. :P

He actually did cut it down three years later to a far shorter four-hour film. Just to show that he was capable of making long films, and, well, still-pretty-damn-long films. :mrgreen:

Rivette's most famous movie is one that some of you SBS viewers (for both reasons) might be familiar with. If you watch the trailer, you may be able to guess why this one was a little more popular:

nope. It's got a nude chick. Cinematic equivilent of a 30 year old playboy mag. That trailer would have me ban it from me ever looking at it. :shock:
