After watching Toy Story with Laura and her sister, Laura suggested we watch The Conjuring, of course we spent most of the early part of the movie looking up the true story of the doll and such. Her sisters joined us as well, and found it to be an interesting, and strange movie.
Today I decided to watch The Incredible Burt Wonderstone thought it was a good movie.

Haha yeah, her sister Emma was watching Toy Story, it finished and they were looking for something to watch so she stopped on Fuel TV as TNA was on. She then decided to go have a shower and Laura and I were left to talk and she decided we'd watch it. I hadn't seen it until then, she had it on DVD and brought it over but we watched another movie.think positive wrote:You followed toy story with the conjuring? Hahaha

A trailer of sorts. A young & lovely Shirley Jones no less:Pies4shaw wrote:Carousel. Every song is a killer. The dancing is wonderful, too.
Hard to imagine now that if Sinatra hadn't walked out on the film, all those magnificent songs sung by Gordon MacRae would likely have been remembered for being sung slightly out of tune throughout, in best FS style.

I watched The Kid and I last night, loosely based on Eric Gores who is the son of businessman and Forbes billionaire Alec Gores, their neighbour was Tom Arnold and Eric loved the movie 'True Lies' Arnold, a neighbor in Los Angeles, to make a sequel to Eric's favorite film, True Lies (1994), in which Arnold co-starred. The plot of The Kid & I closely parallels the actual situation. Eric Gores has cerebral palsy.
So they make the movie known as Two Spies, the plot was a dog belonging to the daughter of a family of government officials is kidnapped, and two agents are sent out to rescue the dog from its kidnappers who might be possible terrorists.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis make comeo appearances as they starred with Tom Arnold in True Lies but in the movie they starred with Bill Williams, not Tom Arnold. The difference this movie makes from the real life situation is Arnold plays a washed up actor that tries to commit suicide, failing, he wakes up and his told by his agent (Henry Winkler) he has a job
It's a pretty good movie actually.

Watched it tonight.Wokko wrote:Just watched 'Get the Gringo'. Great action film set in a Mexican prison town about a thief (Mel Gibson) who has stolen money and ended up on the Mexican side of the border and is sent to jail by some cops who appropriate his criminal proceeds. A coherent if somewhat farfetched plot that leads to enough action to satisfy Mel's Lethal Weapon fans.
Highly recommend 7.5/10.
Actually very good. and you summarised it quite well.
