Same! It probably deserved the awards it got, but no way did it come close to the main ones.David wrote:I'm just glad Gravity didn't win!
Best movie, actor, actress and supporting roles were all spot on in my opinion. Maybe harsh that Fassbender was up against Leto though because I thought he was awesome in 12 Years.
And HA that American Hustle won nothing. Terrible movie....

I agree, it sucked. How did that get so many nominations when Frances Ha, Before Midnight and Spring Breakers got nothing? My three favourite American films of the year, and I think one nomination between them.

Wolf of wall st, bloody brilliant, very entertaining, poor old Leo, I thought he should have won an Oscar for the aviator, he was magnificent in that. Actually all his movies, loved catch me if you can and the beach. Not keen on, um, titanic!

Two stunning films by Soviet-era Armenian director Sergei Parajanov:

It's something I have to live with every day, lol. I'm just glad I managed to fall in love with another member of my 1%. It makes going to the movies so much easier!
We just watched In the Realm of the Senses together last night. Is anyone 'familiar' with it? I wasn't expecting it to be so, er, visual.

That was rather a lot of red paint at the end. Lola and I were both hoping that we wouldn't have to see her souvenir collection in close-up, though I made the point that it couldn't possibly be worse than Charlotte Gainbourg's effort in Antichrist.
But my god, the egg! Did you see that!? And it didn't even break!
