Go for it David. As long as you don't take it too seriously you shouldn't feel too disappointed even if you don't end up liking it.David wrote:This may surprise you, but I'm actually considering watching it. It does sound pretty funny.Jezza wrote:Anchorman 2
I saw it yesterday at Village Cinemas in Doncaster and I can definitely come to the conclusion that it was nowhere near as good as the first one.
I thought having Brick play a larger role in the movie didn't work as well as I first thought it would. I thought all his scenes with his new girlfriend quite creepy. I still feel that Ferrell's portrayal of Ron Burgandy is what kept the movie going.
I think the first half of the movie was quite good but it lost the plot in the second half of the movie as many famous actors had cameo roles and we saw Harrison Ford turn into a werewolf .
However for its comical element it's still a bundle of laughs no doubt!
The first one is still a class above this second movie!

Not my type of film usually, no action, no hunks
OMG it's brilliant, laughed cried, and bloody near cheered
And I can't wait to go back to Disney again!
Nope, I'll never grow up, just love the place!
Brilliant movie, hanks so convincing, and Emma Thompson incredible, now I gotta go but Mary poppins, cheers

You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either!
I must be the only person who doesn't find Will Ferrell remotely funny.
I digress.
All is lost with Robert Redford.
Wow has any movie had less dialogue since the development of "talkies"?
If you want to experience what it would be like to be alone at sea with a damaged yacht then this will be for you.
If not then give it a miss.
I enjoyed it enough but in reality I'm not really sure of the point of the movie.
