Michael Mifsud joins The Heart!

Michael Mifsud has joined the Melbourne Heart!

As a person of Maltese heritage, I have followed Michael's career for some time now and was always hoping he'd consider coming down under to represent The Heart!

He's a good striker who should succeed in this league and will hopefully draw a large chunk of the Maltese community to the red and white!

Good signing for the Heart and he has a wealth of experience as well which will benefit the club greatly.

It wouldn't surprise me to see an influx of Melbourne Heart fans having a Maltese backgrounds. A good get for the Heart and I wish them luck unlike Melbourne Victory :P

Haha I'd say that comes with the territory mate, if you don't you're a disgrace :P

Must say I've been pretty disappointed with Micky so far though!

Rather be a dud than an ankle breaking, mouth breathing or wife-beating scumbag.

That's just me though

The fact that you just couldn't help yourself but bump this thread to make that comment is completely indicative of your fan base to be honest.

has anyone explained to him the offside rule? it amazes me how often such an experienced player gets offside so often.

He plays on the shoulder of the last man, a lot of players who do that often get caught, he is getting done way too often though.

It's either down to the runs he's making or the timing of the passes that his team-mates are putting through (too early, too late etc.)
